Refactoring of Object Orientated Application
Solárik, Martin ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Kreslíková, Jitka (advisor)
This document is the masters thesis called refactoring of object oriented application. Goal of this document was to introduce the problem of refactoring and apply gained knowledge on real software project. Document is divided into six chapters. The first chapter is introduction, the term refactoring is defined there with a brief history. Next chapter explains basic principles of refactoring, advantages and disadvantages of using refactoring. The third chapter is called catalog of refactorings and describes common patterns of refactoring. Next two chapters describe .NET platform and tools, which support refactoring on this platform. Sixth chapter is about real application of refactoring. Final chapter is conclusion and summary.
Ambulatory ECG Holter Monitor
Majerík, Peter ; Strašil, Ivo (referee) ; Číž, Radim (advisor)
The thesis deals with design of the device for monitoring four signals from the probes for scanning ECG, PPG and heart pressure. The thesis is mainly focused on hardware design of the device and the most important part is the selection of the storage media to which will be the data recorded and the selection of the microprocessor which has to be able to meet the requirements of the device. For the data recording is used SD card and the ARM based MCU was selected from the AT91SAM7S series. This thesis also deals with the software design for MCU which is needed to launch the device and with design of PC applications used for setting the device and for downloading the measured data. At the end there are presented results of the constructed device.
Design, Creation and Implementation of Software Applications in the Corporate Environment
Beran, Martin ; Jakůbek, Aleš (referee) ; Novák, Lukáš (advisor)
This master thesis deals with a draft and an implementation of a software application into a company. The thesis sums up the theoretical outcomes of work and the analysis of present state including requirements for the above stated application. Analysis of internal and external environment of the company is performed with the use of Porter, SWOT, SLEPT and 7S. In addition to that, the analysis of competitive products, all included in the draft, is also peformed. The draft design of software application and the description of implementation to the company environment are created in the last part of the thesis.
Tool for Software Systems Design
Crlík, Radek ; Janoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Kočí, Radek (advisor)
To be able to create quality software system, one need to analyse it well, design, program and test it. The whole process is called software life-cycle and is studied by software engineering. Today, there are many tools making this process easier. For analysing and designing software UML language became favourite. It enables programmers to describe different aspects of software by graphical diagrams and enables them to comprehend them better. Some of them can be translated into source code in chosen programming language. Problem is maintaining those diagrams during later phases when source code was already generated and is used exclusively. This problem is trying to be solved by Model-Driven Development, where programmer is working with well-defined models that can be automatically transformed into the source code that don't have to be edited by hand. Unfortunately this approach is not universal. This work tries to design and create tool that can work with use case diagrams, class diagrams and object-oriented Petri nets. This tool should allow designing those diagrams and be able to synchronise information between them to make the software design easier.
Prototyp aplikace pro sledování charakteristik prostředí pokojových rostlin
Musil, Michal
This bachelor’s thesis deals with design and implementation of a user friendly application for monitoring characteristics of a houseplant’s environment, such as ambient temperature, light intensity and soil moisture. Purpose of the application is to make everyday care for these plants easier. Subject of the introductory part of the thesis is examining possibilities of collecting the necessary data and comparing the problem with already existing similar solutions on the market. A design of a multitier application independent of any specific technological solutions is then proposed. The design is followed up on by implementing application logic with REST API on the ASP.NET Core platform, IoT device with electrical sensors and WiFi connectivity for the monitoring process itself and a user interface in the form of Android native mobile application.
Design of software for calculation of measurement deviations and uncertainties
Horňák, Marek ; Kundisová, Miriam (referee) ; Novotná, Veronika (advisor)
This master thesis describes the design of software for a calibration laboratory of mass that will comply with current standards, guidelines, and laws for the field. The thesis describes the design of the database, the data management system and software architecture as well as the application of selected mathematical and statistical methods for the calculation of measurement deviations and uncertainties in instrument calibrations.

Comparing available applications for UML modeling
LIŠKOVÁ, Markéta
The bachelor thesis deals with the comparison of available applications for UML modeling with the aim to evaluate their usability in real environment. In the theoretical part is described language UML, terms related to tools for UML modeling and specific selected applications for comparison. The applications are compared based on selected criteria and a model composed of a class diagram, which is created in each of them.
